So for any of you who love quick and easy dinner ideas here's a great one! Just add a packet of Hidden Valley Ranch salad dressing and seasoning mix to thawed hamburger. This makes for a super-easy and yummy burger! We also buy frozen fast food fries, Ore-ida is the brand and use our fry-daddy to cook them. Anyway, if you haven't tried ranch burgers try em' out!
1 TBSP Vegetable Oil 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts 1 can Campbell's Cream of Chicken soup 1 1/2 cups water 1/4 tsp garlic pepper 1/4 tsp ground black pepper 1 1/2 cups uncooked instant rice 2 cups fresh or frozen broccoli flowerets
Heat the oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 10 minutes or until it's well browned on both sides. Season with garlic pepper and salt. Remove the chicken from skillet. Stir the soup, water, and pepper in the skillet and heat to a boil. Stir the rice and broccoli in the skillet. Reduce the heat to low. Return the chicken to the skillet. Sprinkle with additional garlic pepper and salt. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the rice is tender.
I do have a lot of recipes with broccoli, rice and chicken, but this one is a new one and it is really good! We're keeping it on our dinner ideas list! Enjoy!
